Origin: Brazil Type: Trinitario Description: Our Brazilian beans come from a small family estate in Bahia, where workers are paid above average wages plus production equity incentives. This farm has been revived by family members after the witches’ broom disease killed their production by 96% in the late 1980s. After this recovery the family’s focus has been to produce high quality, fine flavor, organic cacao, which explains the deliciousness of this chocolate bar. Notes: A stimulating and balanced chocolate with floral and tropical fruit notes, hints of lemongrass and pineapple, great acidity and a long lasting finish with macadamia undertones.
