Our Story

Our Nibble Chocolate is handcrafted in small batches from single-origin cocoa beans in San Diego, California.

Our story began in 2013 with a simple idea that soon took on a life of its own. Like many chocolate lovers, we used to crave bars that truly tasted like chocolate. But as we became more health-conscious, we realized how difficult it was to find chocolate made with real cacao — not just sugar and fillers.

Most chocolate bars we found had long ingredient lists and very little actual cocoa content.

One day, we thought: what if we made our own real chocolate, pure and simple, with all its natural goodness? Little did we know that this idea would become not just a passion, but a way of life.

Long story short: we got hooked on chocolate: the real kind.

Once we started exploring the world of cacao, we realized how underestimated it was.

Having worked in the wine industry for over 11 years, we couldn’t help but notice how much chocolate shares with wine, from its origins and aromas to the care behind every batch.

To our surprise, not many people saw chocolate that way. We imagined how fun and fulfilling it would be to share this perspective with the world and that’s how Nibble Chocolate truly began.

Years later, we’re still learning, experimenting, and feeling grateful every single day to do what we love most: make good chocolate and make people smile.
