Description: Our Brazilian beans come from a small family estate in Bahia, where workers are paid above-average wages plus production equity incentives. This farm has been revived by family members after the witches’ broom disease killed their production by 96% in the late 1980s. After this recovery, the family’s focus has been to produce high quality, fine flavor, organic cacao, which explains the deliciousness of this chocolate bar.
Notes: A stimulating and balanced chocolate with floral and tropical fruit notes, hints of lemongrass and pineapple, great acidity and a long-lasting finish with macadamia undertones.
